Blake Gierke

For the past ten years, Blake has been a reliable real estate agent on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. He began his career at both Maleny & Hinterland Real Estate and Mapleton Realty, where he gained valuable experience and learned the ins and outs of the business. With a solid foundation, Blake and Kenny Knight took a big step in 2022 by purchasing Mapleton Realty. They soon renamed it The Ottiam Group, expanding their services to cover not just the Hinterland but also the Coast and areas as far as Brisbane.

Blake is well-known for understanding the real estate market deeply and connecting effectively with clients. He combines thorough market analysis with a personal touch to provide top-notch advice and service. Over the years, Blake has mastered the blend of traditional and innovative marketing methods, achieving the best outcomes for his clients and building lasting relationships.

Starting in a competitive field, Blake quickly established himself as a leading agent. His work on significant Sunshine Coast development projects helped him create a strong network with builders, developers, and other agents.

Kenny Knight

Kenny kicked off his career in real estate in 2014, starting as a Sales & Commercial Leasing Executive. He quickly demonstrated his expertise by handling a wide variety of properties, including commercial, retail, industrial sites, and new developments. Kenny’s experience spans across both commercial and residential sectors, where he has led numerous successful sales campaigns using auctions, expressions of interest, and private sales. Over the years, he’s worked with a diverse group of clients, from property developers and private investors to corporate institutions.

In 2018, Kenny became a part of the Mapleton Realty team, further solidifying his career on the Sunshine Coast. His lifelong residency in the area, combined with his education at Nambour High School and Sunshine Coast University, has given him an unrivalled understanding of the local market and community.

Kenny’s deep-rooted passion for the Sunshine Coast and its lifestyle fuels his motivation in real estate. He believes in the importance of a good agent’s role in securing deals that leave everyone satisfied. His extensive local knowledge and keen negotiation skills are key to his approach, ensuring the best outcomes for all involved.

In 2022, Kenny, alongside Blake, made a significant move by acquiring Mapleton Realty. Together, they launched The Ottiam Group, aiming to extend their exceptional real estate services beyond the Hinterland to the Coast and as far as Brisbane. With The Ottiam Group, Kenny continues to offer his expert guidance and local knowledge, focusing on achieving the best possible outcomes for vendors and buyers alike.
